bridges and stories...

got a friend request from a long lost friend today...news like these are what makes me smile and makes a could-be hectic day bearable...=)
considering i have friendship issues simmering on the sidelines...it's like an ice cold reminder for me...to rethink what my friends means to me and to throw away those evil doubts and pain...

moving on...i have nice kwento about this newfound old friend...back in highschool we lost contact with her in second year...coz she tansferred school out of the blue...since we were cloistered exclusive school girls...we had no means to maintain contact with her...fast-forward to a death of one friend's father...we had to find her coz we felt she would want to symphatize...and ofcourse she would...and we saw her again!...and we fondly listen to her kwentos that are completely alien to us...(read: exclusive school for girls vs. co-ed)...not entirely "boys" kwento...but interesting kwento about a different kind of hayskul life...and then we lost communication again...
sometime in the past, there was a period of frantic search for her...we did crazy things to find her...we called all those listed in the phone directory...we called possible employers of family members...hehe...guess she never knew we did those ...laughtrip ito...
once in a while we hear news about her...and stories about her are big news...fact or fiction...
a close friend of ours saw her recently in a far away place (meaning outside m.mla...haha) and i can still remember the animated phone conversation we had about the experience...read: ala wish ko lang...hehe
fast forward to the future...friendster promises a stable connection with her (hopefully)...we have a chance to catch up on each other lives how different they might be...
...which brings me back to that wish...sana all flawed relationships are easy to repair...
